Columbitech powers Sprint Secure Mobile VPN technology

Sprint, the fourth largest telecom operator in the US, announced the availability of Sprint Secure Mobile VPN technology — powered by Columbitech — for Sprint Business customers.
Sprint network and cost strategy
Sprint, a SoftBank-promoted telecom operator, said the solution creates a virtual private network connection with mobile devices across all different types of IP networks – including 4G/LTE, LAN and Wi-Fi – to ensure users can access critical data without worrying about reconnecting or forcing to log in multiple times.

“Offering true session persistence with network roaming and transaction recovery, Secure Mobile VPN is a powerful IT tool for businesses of every variety – allowing for a superior mobile work experience for employees. In addition, the solution is purpose-built to boost productivity and overall corporate performance,” said Jan Geldmacher, president of Sprint Business.

Tobias Englund, CEO at Columbitech, said: “It is our priority to make sure that the best mobile VPN technology is available for enterprise and SMB users that rely on Sprint’s network and converged information systems solutions.”
