BT to include new MDSL Telecom Expense Management services

Telecom Lead Europe: BT will include new MDSL Telecom Expense Management (TEM) services in BT‘s managed mobility expenses services for enterprise and public sector customers.

The agreement covers MDSL’s mobile TEM products and services.

As per the agreement, BT Global Services will offer TEM Mobility services from the MDSL portfolio to its customers.

“We are pleased to be working with BT on new opportunities and routes to market for both organisations. This agreement opens up a range of growth opportunities around the world on which, with its global reach and capabilities, MDSL is well-placed to capitalize,” said Ben Mendoza, CEO of MDSL.

The addition of MDSL Mobile Telecom Expense management to BT Managed Mobility Expenses portfolio enables the telecom major to provide more flexibility and choice to address customers’ individual needs.

“Managing and controlling mobility expenditure is key for our customers right now, given their increasing acceptance of Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) and the potential that this creates for significant growth in data usage and the associated costs,” said Jonathan Brasnett, head of Global Mobility Capability, BT Global Services.

In addition, customers will benefit as the BT Managed Mobility Expenses will give more visibility of their global mobility expenditure and provide recommendations to drive down costs by maximizing tariffs and changing user behavior.
