Batelco appoints Muna Al Hashemi as acting CEO for Bahrain

Telecom service provider Batelco has appointed Muna Al Hashemi as acting CEO for Bahrain.

At present, group CEO Alan Whelan is looking at Bahrain telecom operations of Batelco.

Al Hashemi takes over the lead role for the company’s Bahrain operations from group CEO Alan Whelan who has been managing both Bahrain and Batelco Group in recent months.

Before the new role, Al Hashemi was heading Batelco’s consumer division from 2008 after joining the telecom company in 1994.

Muna began her career in the engineering department and gained experience as she progressed through a number of divisions, including customer services, accounts, product marketing, product development and customer marketing.
