Alvarion provides wireless solutions for HotSpot International hospitality markets

Telecom Lead America: Alvarion, a provider of wireless
broadband solutions, announced that HotSpot International (HSI) has selected
its carrier-grade Wi-Fi solution for hospitality customers across Mexico and
Central America.

Whether for business or pleasure, travellers expect to
have wireless connectivity at their fingertips no matter where they land in the
world – from the airport to convention center, hotel grounds and even
poolside,” said Eran Gorev, president and CEO of Alvarion.

The rapid growth of mobile devices is putting tremendous
pressure on legacy communications infrastructure. Alvarion WBSn solution, a
part of its Beamforming 802.11n Wi-Fi base stations, addresses wireless
connectivity challenges in these scenarios.

Alvarion’s technology allows us to deliver more
effectively and cost-efficiently better high speed wireless connectivity
solutions to our customers so that their guests can have a world-class
experience,” said Louis Miller, founder and CEO of HSI.

HSI has already installed Alvarion’s technology across
Mexico with customers including AMResorts and Casa Dorada Resort & Spa in
Cabo San Lucas.

Alvarion’s technology will also connect VoIP room
extensions with visitors’ smartphones wherever guests are on the property and
enable them to remotely change temperature or lights.
