More than 95 percent of the Airtel customers are on prepaid packages. The latest plan will be available on all-India basis from today.

Bharti Airtel, the number one telecom service provider in India, claimed that the move will assist mobile subscribers to enjoy the cost effective tariff.

Pay For What You Use initiative will ensure that customers pay only for the time they use the Airtel network.

“While we continue to invest in our network quality and deploy new sites to enhance our network presence, we are today taking the lead to move our customers to the affordable per second plans ensuring that they pay only for what they use,” said Ajai Puri, director – Market Operations, Bharti Airtel (India & South Asia).
