Airtel Business offers free GST solution for SMBs

Airtel India for mobileAirtel Business has tied up with ClearTax to launch free GST solution to support small businesses and start-ups to file their GST returns.

Airtel GST Advantage solution — riding on the CleaTax platform — is available free of cost to all existing Airtel Business customers, who need to register on www.airtel.in/gst-advantage

ClearTax’s GST software and platform will be available to Airtel customers without the subscription fee till March 31, 2018.

All Airtel customers can utilize helpdesk between 8 am and 8 pm on all weekdays to get more details about Airtel’s GST Advantage. Bharti Airtel has also published a GST knowledge bank offering in-depth information about GST.

Airtel customers will get free data for using Airtel GST Advantage and upload their returns without worrying about bandwidth charges. With GST Advantage, businesses will get free additional data* with any Airtel corporate connection or device, to help them file returns.

“The new GST regime is a landmark reform for the Indian economy and with Airtel GST Advantage, we would like to enable small businesses with free filing of returns, and free and secure data access. Airtel is also the data hosting and connectivity partner for the Goods and Services Network (GSTN),” said Ashok Ganapathy, director and CEO – Airtel Business.

BSNL, one of the rivals of Airtel, launched GST Suvidha Provider / Application Service providers (GSP / ASP) service in partnership with Taxmann Publications to assist enterprises for their GST filing.

BSNL has also launched GST Suvidha Provider (GSP) services in association with Masters India to assist customers. The solutions can be availed in three categories — the Basic Plan (free of cost up to 2,000 invoices), Plus Plan (Rs 1,999 up to 6000 invoices alongside other benefits) and the Pro Plan (for enterprises).
