Aircel makes investment in 300 cell sites in UP East

Telecom network operator Aircel has added more than 300 new cell sites in the Uttar Pradesh (East) circle.

Aircel has added more than 1 million customers in UP (East) in the last one year thanks to its robust network and its aggressive drive for fuelling mobile data consumption.

Aircel will also be deploying close to 300 new sites across the UP (East) circle in the next few months to cater to its growing customer base. Aircel has 3,544 sites in the UP East circle.

“We’re expanding our network with 300 more sites across the circle, and are confident that our further strengthened portfolio of new products will delight our customers and help us continue the growth path we have carved for ourselves in UP (East),” said Prabhat Aggarwal, regional manager – Central, Aircel.

Aircel has launched SRC 6 that enables one to make all local and national calls at 25p / min for up to 90 days. This offer is available to all new customers, and to old customers recharging through SOMA (Special Offer), with its validity depending upon the usage of the customer.

Aircel also launched RC 21 which slashes all STD call rates to 25p / min for 28 days, while RC 39 slashes local as well as STD calls to 25p / min for 28 days.  Aircel offers 10p / min On-Net (Aircel to Aircel) calling at a price of Rs 7, without any first call charging condition.
