ViryaNet provides mobile workforce management solution to Ecuadorian telco

Telecom Lead Europe: ViryaNet, a provider of software
solutions for mobile workforces, is providing ViryaNet G4, a mobile workforce
management solution to a leading telecommunications provider in Ecuador.


Integrated with Amdocs customer management solutions, the
ViryaNet G4 is being deployed by the operator to create optimized assignments
plans and provide real-time communication to the mobile workforce.


The real-time communication from mobile workforce will
allow field technicians to send and receive case details, and provide status
updates via ViryaNet G4 to the Amdocs CM solution.


Telecommunications providers must maintain efficiency
while providing high-quality service to customers in a highly competitive
market. The ViryaNet G4 solution is well-suited to companies who want to
differentiate through service. ViryaNet G4 can manage the complex and
collaborative service delivery processes that the telecommunications market
requires delivering a higher level of service,” said Memy Ish-Shalom, president
and CEO of ViryaNet.


The implementation of ViryaNet G4 will enable increased
efficiency of scheduling and dispatch operations for approximately 500 crews,
improve workforce management and execution through a mobile-enabled system.


Additionally, the solution will help in maintain and
leveraging existing system functionality and system assets.


The Ecuadorian telco has the largest fiber optic network
in the country and operates about 90 percent of Ecuador’s fixed telecom main
lines, 90 percent of the digital subscriber market, and 54 percent of the fixed
broadband market.
