NeuString adds IMSI discount feature on Subscriber Analytics software

Telecom Lead America: NeuString, a supplier of actionable
business data analytics software for mobile operators, has updated its
functionality on Subscriber Analytics software with the addition of the IMSI
(International Mobile Subscriber Identity) discount feature.

The new feature will allow operators to negotiate
mutually beneficial discounts for international roaming on an individual
subscriber level.

Additionally, the IMSI discount feature allows mobile
operators to put a cap on data usage at the customer’s request.

This new feature benefits not only the operators,
but answers the concerns of customers too. It removes the risk of unexpected
charges on their bills when travelling abroad,” said Nikolaj Chris Jensen,
product director for NeuString.

With this additional facility, customers travelling
abroad with their own mobile phone can put a cap on their data usage, daily,
weekly and monthly.

For mobile operators, the new feature enables them to
compete against local WiFi, as well as avoiding their customers buying local
SIM cards in their destination country.

Asian operators have already started utilizing this new
feature, while more operators across the Middle East and Europe seek to utilize
in coming days.

NeuString claims that the updated functionality also
enables automatic calculations to be made for roaming partner settlement, in
real time.

The new feature also leverages Subscriber Analytics
software that analyzes and anticipates subscriber behavior and allow operators
to take pre-emptive action, which in turn reduces churn.

Through utilizing NeuString’s products, the IMSI discount
feature enhances the subscriber’s roaming experience by delivering a tailored
individual plan.

Subscriber Analytics software delivers bottom line growth
and unique benefits for mobile operators worldwide.
