The company also showcased its OceanStor OS and storage products to help carriers utilize cloud computing and converged storage to make business agile.

Huawei’s X6800 DC server features Intel Xeon E5 v3 processors for cloud computing and Big Data applications. It helps reduce total cost of ownership and improves the operational efficiency.

Huawei said its RH8100 server uses Intel Xeon E7 v2 processors and provides up to 60 reliability, availability, serviceability (RAS) features and powerful computing performance to ensure reliable operation of key services, such as business and operational support systems (OSS/BSS).

Huawei’s OceanStor V3 converged storage can provide converged data storage for large databases, OLTP/OLAP, file sharing, cloud computing, and other application types. An IDC report says the global revenue growth rate of Huawei storage ranked No.1 for consecutive 5 quarters up to Q3 2014.

“Huawei OceanStor OS — in a public cloud, self-built private cloud, or hybrid cloud environment — provides strong service capability, allowing data flow to meet customers’ ever-expanding storage requirements,” said Fan Ruiqi, president of Huawei Storage Product Line.

At the MWC 2015, Huawei is showing its NC high-speed interconnection chips, iBMC management chips, and PCIe SSD high-performance storage cards. The NC interconnection chip implements high-speed interconnection of more than eight processors, realizing larger-scale system expansion.
