Gilat subsidiary Wavestream wins over $6 mn order from DoD

Gilat Satellite Networks announced today that its subsidiary Wavestream received orders for over 6 million dollars from the US Department of Defense (DoD).

Wavestream will supply the GaN BUCs as the first award of a five-year base period of potentially over $10M of deliveries to the US DoD, the company said.

“Wavestream has delivered thousands of SSPAs to the US Armed Forces for over a decade,” said Bob Huffman, Wavestream’s general manager. “We take pride in continuing to provide the best solutions to support the US forces world-wide with field proven, highly reliable telecommunications solutions.”
