Ericsson Showcases Telecom Innovation with New Partnerships at OSS/BSS Summit 2025 — Collaborates with Telstra, AT&T, and T-Mobile

Ericsson, at the OSS/BSS Summit in London, announced three major collaborations highlighting its leadership in telecom innovation.

Ericsson has joined hands with Telstra to advance composable and autonomous networks, developing business-driven use cases and promoting industry-wide learning.

Ericsson has tied up with AT&T for launching the AT&T IoT Marketplace, powered by Ericsson’s Core Commerce portfolio, to streamline IoT service sales, provisioning, and billing with intelligent automation.

Ericsson has been selected by T-Mobile for introducing a next-gen charging program using Ericsson Charging Evolved and Telco DataOps Platform for real-time monetization and AI-driven customer insights.

AT&T

AT&T and Ericsson have launched the AT&T IoT Marketplace, a digital eCommerce platform designed to accelerate innovation and monetization in the Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem. The platform simplifies the processes of selling, contracting, provisioning, and billing IoT services, offering a unified digital catalog, order management system, and TMF API-based integrations.

Built on Ericsson’s Digital Experience Platform, the Marketplace runs on a cloud-native microservices architecture hosted on Microsoft Azure, ensuring secure and scalable operations. It addresses major industry challenges such as fragmented systems, complex integrations, and inconsistent user experiences—offering streamlined onboarding and faster order-to-cash cycles for customers and partners in industries like transportation, manufacturing, and healthcare, Cameron Coursey, vice president of Connected Solutions at AT&T said.

AT&T says the solution reduces the time to order fleet management services from hours to minutes, enhancing operational efficiency and agility. Ericsson emphasized that the collaboration delivers a seamless, personalized experience across all channels, helping AT&T strengthen its position in the growing IoT market and enabling businesses to unlock new growth opportunities in the digital economy.

Telstra

Telstra and Ericsson have entered into a new collaboration agreement aimed at accelerating the telecom industry’s transition toward autonomous networks. The partnership will focus on addressing key barriers to network autonomy — such as fragmented data, gaps between business intent and execution, multi-vendor complexity, and the trustworthiness of AI models.

The initiative will focus on four strategic areas: developing intent translation frameworks to link business goals with network actions, building a knowledge plane powered by AI and data analytics, integrating trustworthy and transparent AI systems, and driving industry-wide collaboration to establish shared standards and open innovation.

The collaboration will operate through a Technology Lab for experimentation and Proof Points to validate real-world solutions, ensuring interoperability with other industry players.

Telstra’s Chief Architect Mark Sanders said the partnership provides the focus needed to turn intent-driven autonomy into reality.

T-Mobile

T-Mobile and Ericsson are collaborating to deploy next-generation Business Support Systems (BSS) that enable intent-driven monetization and real-time service innovation. At the core of this partnership is Ericsson Charging Evolved, a cutting-edge platform designed to deliver agile, intelligent, and context-aware monetization at scale, allowing T-Mobile to dynamically price and personalize services based on real-time customer experiences and network conditions.

Built on TM Forum’s Open Digital Architecture and Open APIs, the solution supports seamless integration across B2C, B2B, and B2B2X ecosystems, preparing T-Mobile for future 5G and 6G opportunities.

Complementing this, Ericsson’s Telco DataOps Platform introduces real-time streaming data processing capabilities that provide actionable insights for customer service and network optimization. This AI-driven data intelligence will empower T-Mobile to accelerate service creation, improve customer experience, and drive autonomous, intent-based network operations—setting a new benchmark for digital transformation in the telecom industry.
