Ericsson today said Arun Bansal will be heading its Radio business, while Anders Lindblad will look after its Cloud & IP unit.
Both will be senior vice presidents of Ericsson. Bansal and Lindblad will remain members of Ericsson’s Global Leadership Team.
Ericsson will announce successors to them in their current roles shortly.
The Radio and Cloud & IP business units will be effective on July 1, 2014 with the BU Management team and organizational structure in place.
Ericsson formed these two units by splitting its the current business unit Networks in a move to accelerate transformation and support growth.
Currently, Arun Bansal is currently heading the South East Asia & Oceania region of Ericsson, while Anders Lindblad is the head of Ericsson’s head of Middle East region.
Bansal has been with Ericsson for close to 20 years, while Lindblad has been serving the telecom network vendor for 17 years.
