edotco Malaysia announced the handing over of 113 new telecommunications infrastructure for the Phase 1 of the Jalinan Digital Negara (JENDELA).
The new telecom infrastructure to support connectivity was erected across seven states in Kedah, Kelantan, Perak, Pahang, Negeri Sembilan, Johor, and Sabah. The tower installation includes radio equipment and other ancillaries at all 113 sites.
The JENDELA project, driven by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), aims to help mobile network operators expand and expedite mobile coverage availability in underserved rural areas.

In total, Phase 1 of the JENDELA project encompasses 152 sites in eight states including Johor, Kedah, Kelantan, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang, Perak, Terengganu and Sabah.
