Banglalink taps ZTE for virtual subscriber data management platform

ZTE vSDM platform for BanglalinkBanglalink, a telecom operator in Bangladesh, has tapped ZTE to build the world’s largest virtual subscriber data management (vSDM) platform.

Over 35 million users of Banglalink will benefit from the newly transformed network. vSDM will help manage Banglalink’s customer data more efficiently and increase service availability. The upgraded network can support 2G, 3G, 4G, VoWiFi  and VoLTE.

Banglalink’s virtualised network offers mobile broadband, video chat, multimedia conferences, multimedia messaging and other services to users.

“Banglalink has been working to increase internet penetration in order to create a digitally inclusive society. Our partnership with ZTE will enable us to embrace digital agenda and virtualization at an incredible pace,” said Sanjay Vaghasia, chief technology officer of Banglalink.
