Aricent Group appoints Sumit Ray as head of CSS business unit

Telecom Lead India: The Aricent Group has appointed Sumit Ray as executive vice president and general manager of the Carrier Services and Solutions (CSS) business unit.

Ray has served several companies before joining Aricent Group. Ray worked at AT Kearney as as an officer; served EDS’ communications industry division globally and IBM’s Consulting and Systems Integration business in Europe for the communications industry.

At Aricent Group, Ray will be responsible for providing leadership to the CSS business unit, which provides business innovation services, and network and IT solutions to communications service providers globally.

His knowledge, experience and vision will help drive our strategy to enable the connected world adapt to, and stay ahead of, ever-shifting trends,” said Sudip Nandy, CEO, Aricent Group.

Ray is expected to contribute to the successful execution of Aricent Group’s strategy to become the leading provider of innovation services for the connected world. The Group’s two business units, CSS and Product Engineering Services (PES) along with frog, the design and strategic ideation arm of Aricent Group, provide customer insight, strategy, design, technology services, engineering and delivery.
