Telecom Lead America: Alvarion, a provider of optimized
wireless broadband solutions, and Crossover Distribution.com Corporation have
signed a North American distribution agreement under which Crossover will
leverage Alvarion’s carrier-grade Wi-Fi solutions.
The original distribution agreement was finalized with
Wavion which has since been acquired by Alvarion.
The carrier-grade Wi-Fi solution will enable Crossover to
offer an expanded portfolio of solutions to the market.
Crossover is a distributor of wireless broadband,
in-building cellular, telecom and VoIP technologies to the North American
marketplace. Its customers include fixed and mobile operators that are seeking
cost-effective coverage and capacity solutions for their networks.
Alvarion’s carrier-grade Wi-Fi delivers complete
solutions for metro and rural areas including access, backhaul, CPEs and
Network Management Systems (NMS).

grade, Metro Wi-Fi solutions to deliver high quality, wireless broadband
services for both fixed and mobile applications as well as cellular off-loading
solutions for their 3G and LTE networks. Alvarion’s complete offering will

The carrier-grade Wi-Fi’s unique 802.11n MIMO with
two-way Beamforming and powerful interference immunity will enable Crossover’s
customers to deliver a high quality service while helping to reduce CAPEX and
OPEX by up to 50 percent.

Recently, Alvarion
unveiled its Mobile Data Offloading solution for 3G and LTE networks, which
will enable operators to reap benefits from increased network capacity and
coverage in high traffic areas where data congestion is overloading current
3G/LTE networks.
