Alcatel-Lucent appoints Luis Martinez-Amago as CEO for China

Telecom network vendor Alcatel-Lucent today announced the appointment of Luis Martinez-Amago as CEO of Alcatel-Lucent Shanghai Bell (ASB), China.

Based in Shanghai, Martinez-Amago will be responsible for ASB’s business in and outside of China, as well as its key contribution to the Alcatel-Lucent group’s R&D and global operation supply chain.

Alcatel-Lucent Shanghai Bell CEO Luis Martinez-Amago

Before the new position, Martinez-Amago served as president of Alcatel-Lucent’s business activities in Europe, Middle East and Africa. He has been based in London, Vienna, Antwerp, Paris, Madrid and Barcelona, where he joined the company 26 years ago.
