Agilent launches new T&M products

Telecom Lead India: Agilent Technologies has launched
five new products in the aerospace and defense segment.

These new test and measurement products will play a
decisive role in revolutionizing the strategic areas of Aerospace & Defense
sectors.

We are excited and proud to organize the sixth edition
of Agilent`s Aerospace and Defense symposium. We have been getting an
overwhelming response from industry leaders, key decision makers, senior
scientists, technical officers from DRDO Labs, Government R&D and the armed
forces. This is a great platform to exchange ideas that can better our
Aerospace & Defense ecosystem,” said Sudhir Tangri, country manager,
Agilent Technologies, Electronics Measurement Group.

Agilent Technologies’ R&D initiatives are aimed at
addressing the growing needs of both R&D and field requirements that
encompasses sub-segments like RADAR, Satellites, Military Communication and
Surveillance, to name a few.

India is a growing market and Agilent is looking at
increasing its engagement levels across sectors.

The symposium highlighted the recent developments in
off-the-shelf test equipment which would help customers to improve the test
procedure. The symposium focused primarily at military communications and radar
systems to discuss test & measurement theory, measurement challenges and
recent technology advances.

The newly launched products & solutions from Agilent
Technologies are:

1) X Series Signal Generators

The X-Series signal generators offer sophisticated
software, and low cost of ownership. With these capabilities, Agilent’s new MXG
and EXG products (available in analog and vector models) support the
development of components and receivers that meet the complex challenges of
mitigating interference, speeding data throughput and increasing signal quality
in applications such as radar, military communications and consumer
wireless.

2) Infiniium 90000 Q-Series Oscilloscopes

At its maximum bandwidth the Q-Series breaks the 60-GHz
barrier, with a -3 dB point of 63 GHz. The 33-GHz model allows engineers to
simultaneously trigger on and capture signals on all four channels with no
compromise. These two specifications allow the oscilloscopes to make
measurements on devices designed to conform to emerging standards and complex
signals which require higher Resolution Bandwidth in Defense applications.

3) PNA-L Vector Network Analyzer

Agilent’s new N523xA PNA-L vector network analyzers,
replacing the existing N5230C models, offer design and manufacturing engineers
the highest performance (up to 50 GHz) in a mid-range VNA, along with lower
cost and future-proof capabilities. They are available in five frequency
models, starting at 300 kHz, with two or four ports available for the 13.5- and
20-GHz models, and two ports available for the 8.5-, 43.5- and 50-GHz products.

4) U2020 X Series USB Power Sensors

Agilent’s new U2020 X-Series USB power sensors offer the
capability to measure peak and average power of a power meter in a compact and
portable form factor. With the peak and average power measurement capabilities
of a power meter, these compact high-performance sensors allow engineers to
test devices faster and with greater efficiency and accuracy.

5) Agilent U1810B USB Coaxial Switch

U1810B is a USB-powered, single-pole double-throw
coaxial switch, operating from DC to 18 GHz. The first-to-market microwave
switch driven by a USB port, the Agilent U1810B will provide
system-design and manufacturing engineers a long-operating-life solution with
convenient RF switching.
