MediaTek has maintained its lead in the non-Apple tablet applications processor (AP) market in 2021, driven by its design wins at Amazon, Lenovo, Samsung and others.
MediaTek rival Qualcomm has shifted focus to premium tablets and posted 15 percent dip in shipment in 2021, said Sravan Kundojjala, Director of Handset Component Technologies service at Strategy Analytics.
