MWC 2014: DIOTEK brings rival software to Apple Siri

At MWC 2014 (Mobile World Congress), Barcelona, DIOTEK, a mobile software and voice technology vendor, has introduced its DioVoice Assistant, a voice command software.

DIOTEK is also displaying DioDict, its mobile electronic dictionary. This apart, DioPen, its handwriting recognition software and DioTTS, a voice synthesis-related technology, will be on display.

DIOTEK

DioVoice Assistant, one of the major products displayed, was developed based on DIOTEK’s voice recognition technology. The success of DIOTEK, DioVoice Assistant and other breakthroughs in the field of mobile UX, has pushed the company to the forefront of Korea’s leading voice recognition business.

Unlike existing voice assistant products such as Siri, which have been controlled only in a limited UI and for dedicated apps using voices, DioVoice Assistant offers completely differentiated usability in the sense that its menu and functions of applications downloaded and installed from app stores are controllable by the voices of users.
