Broadcom clocks 14.3% increase in Q4 revenue to $2.08 billion

Telecom Lead America: Broadcom has clocked 14.3 percent increase in fourth quarter revenue to $2.08 billion from $1.82 billion in Q4 2011.

Net income for the fourth quarter of 2012 increased to $251 million from $220 million.

Revenue for the year ended December 31, 2012 was $8.01 billion, increasing 8.4 percent from $7.39 billion in 2011.

Net income for the full year decreased to $719 million from $927 million.

“Broadcom delivered record revenue in each of our three business groups and record cash flow from operations in 2012, reflecting our continued market share growth and strong economics.” said Scott McGregor, Broadcom’s President and Chief Executive Officer.

Broadcom is expecting revenue of $1.90 billion plus or minus 4 percent during the first quarter of 2013.
