BSNL offers 1 year free Internet with Ubislate tablets

DataWind today said its Ubislate tablets will be available with free internet for one year from telecom operator BSNL.

The free Internet is available with the purchase of its UbiSlate 7Cz and UbiSlate 3G7 tablet PCs, said DataWind.

DataWind products, which were primarily available to the customer through ecommerce and direct to consumer channels such as TV home-shopping, will also be available at UniverCell’s more than 500 retail outlets in south India.

Suneet Singh Tuli, CEO DataWind said, “This relationship significantly expands our distribution by adding a significant player from the retail channel to support our tablet sales.”

RK Mishra, chief general manager, BSNL – Karnataka Circle, said: “The association with DataWind will assist BSNL to expand its 3G customer base and promote BSNL services.”
