India’s second largest smartphone vendor Micromax and Sistema Shyam TeleServices (MTS) have unveiled Canvas Blaze, an EVDO + GSM dual SIM smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
Leonid Musatov, chief marketing & sales officer – MTS India, the telecom operator will offer free data and voice benefits for six months along with the new phone which is available at a price of Rs 10,999 in India. The free offer includes 2 GB data, 1000 minutes for MTS to MTS local calling and 120 minutes for other local and STD calls.
Under this new partnership, Micromax and MTS will introduce more co-developed smartphones.
Earlier, Micromax and Aircel announced a reverse bundle offer.
Specifications of Canvas Blaze, which has 5” full touch display, include Qualcomm Snapdragon processor featuring 1GHz dual-core CPU, Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean), 1850 mAh battery, 8MP rear camera with flash and VGA front camera, expandable memory of up to 32GB, etc.
The mobile Internet phone supports Bluetooth v2.0 and Wi-Fi, ensuring full time connectivity for the social media buffs.
