Microsoft brings Lumia 530 dual SIM 3G smartphone for Rs 7,349 in India

Microsoft Devices on Wednesday announced the launch of Lumia 530 dual SIM smartphone at a price of Rs 7,349 in India.

Lumia 530 is a 3G smartphone. On Tuesday, Idea Cellular, a telecom operator in India, announced the launch of two 3G smartphones.

Lumia 530, one of the cost effective budget phones from Microsoft, comes with Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Cyan, 4.0” FWVGA LCD display, 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, 5MP camera and memory of 512MB RAM, 4GB eMMC with up to 128GB micro SD card support.

Microsoft said 1430mAh battery offers up to 22 hours standby and 13 hours 2G talk time.

Connectivity options include HSPA+ 21Mbps/5.76Mbps, Wi-Fi (b/g/n), BT 4.0 and micro-USB.

“The affordable smartphone segment is growing exponentially, driven primarily by youth who are constantly looking out for smartphones with power packed features at affordable prices,” said Viral Oza, director  – marketing, Nokia India, a subsidiary of Microsoft Mobiles.
