Lenovo prices S860 smartphone at Rs 21,500 in India

Lenovo today said the price of S860 smartphone will be Rs 21,500 in India. The new phone will be available across 1,400 Lenovo exclusive stores and smartphone retail stores starting from May 3, 2014.

Motorola Mobility recently announced the launch of Moto X for an initial price of Rs 23,999 in the Indian mobile phone market. Last week, Apple CEO Tim Cook said the company nearly doubled its sales in India when the smartphone market grew 55 percent in the country.

The Chinese PC vendor launched the S860 at the Mobile World Congress 2014 this year. Earlier, Lenovo launched the P780 and S660 smartphones.

Lenovo S860 smartphone features 5.3-inch wide-view HD screen, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 4000 mAH battery, Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2, 8MP rear camera, dual SIM card holder, 16 GB storage, brushed metal unibody and several applications for professional users.

The company in a statement said that Lenovo S860 battery offers up to 43 hours of talk time.

The S860 comes with Lenovo Power 2.0 application that helps users to optimize the battery usage and get maximum life on a single charge.
