Jabra announced the launch of Jabra SUPREME, the first
non-stereo headset to incorporate Active Noise Cancellation to block out noisy
environments for the user wearing the headset.
Active Noise Cancellation combined with Noise Blackout
3.0 and Wind-Noise Reduction technology, the Jabra SUPREME creates the ultimate
end user experience.
In addition to the Jabra SUPREME, Jabra
has announced Jabra EXTREME, the Jabra EXTREME2. Also featuring Noise
Blackout 3.0, the Jabra EXTREME2 includes HD Voice and other all-new features
at an affordable price. Each of these news headsets offers superb
performance and audio quality to heavy users in all different types of
environments.
For years, headset-makers have focused on noise reduction
technology that avoids the transmission of background noise.
Active Noise Cancellation, traditionally only available
in high-end noise cancellation stereo headphones, is included in the Jabra
SUPREME and uses one dedicated microphone and an electronic chipset to generate
an “anti-noise” sound, removing ambient noise heard by the person
wearing the headset. The end result is call quality that is much clearer.
While Active Noise Cancellation eliminates ambient sound
on the caller’s end, Jabra’s latest generation of Noise Blackout technology
included in both the Jabra SUPREME and EXTREME2 Noise Blackout 3.0 dramatically
reduces background noise that is transmitted to the person on the other end of
the line.
These two features combined with new patent-pending
Wind-Noise Reduction technology, developed for calls in outdoor, windy
conditions, result in the best-sounding conversation possible on both ends.
The Jabra SUPREME features a patented boom arm that
“flips,” enabling users to power on and off by simply flipping the
headset open and closed. This advanced design combined with a state-of-the-art
adjustable earhook and selection of ear cushions makes for one of the most
comfortable and easiest headset carrying solutions on the market.
Building on the excellent performance of its predecessor,
the Jabra EXTREME2 contains all new feature including Noise Blackout 3.0
technology, HD Voice, and Voice Guidance which communicates caller ID, battery
level and communication status through the headset, as well as set-up and
pairing instructions.
Perfect for the on-the-road lifestyle that many
professionals lead today, the EXTREME2 comes equipped with a portable car
charger that doubles as a headset holder. Using no tangling wires, the
charger plugs directly into the 12V outlet and the headset simply plugs in for
a quick charge.
To keep pace with the latest software, Jabra offers
upgrades to the headset via a USB drive, ensuring the EXTREME2 always has the
latest technology and features available.
Jabra recently announced
the Jabra UC VOICE series a new series of four headsets developed for the
growing Unified Communications (UC) market and specifically for UC deployments.
All four headsets are designed for companies looking for
a cost-effective means of deploying headsets across an organization and to
accommodate the different working styles and environments without compromising
on quality.
