Netas Telekom Scores $9 mn Win as Turkey’s Telecom Upgrade Push Accelerates

Netas Telekom announced that it has secured a $9 million order for set-top boxes from a leading Turkish telecom operator, reinforcing its position in the country’s broadband and digital TV infrastructure market. The agreement highlights continued demand for telecom hardware as operators upgrade and expand their digital service offerings. Although the customer’s name was not disclosed, the company confirmed it is one of Turkey’s major telecom players. The deal is expected to contribute to Netas’ telecom segment revenue in 2026, aligning with its broader strategy of strengthening system integration and network equipment services. The announcement comes amid a series of recent contract wins, reflecting steady business momentum in its core telecom operations and ongoing partnerships with large-scale operators.

HFCL Secures ₹2,666 Crore BharatNet Mega Deal, Strengthens Rural Broadband Push with RVNL

HFCL, in consortium with Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL), has secured a ₹2,666 crore contract under BharatNet Phase III for deploying the middle-mile optical fiber network across Uttar Pradesh. The project, awarded by BSNL, aims to strengthen high-speed broadband connectivity in rural and semi-urban regions as part of India’s digital infrastructure expansion. The scope includes design, supply, installation, and long-term maintenance of telecom infrastructure across multiple circles. The deal reinforces HFCL’s growing role in large-scale government telecom projects.

Aeris Expands Global IoT Reach with KDDI Agreement, Supporting 104 Million Devices

Aeris has completed its IoT connectivity management service agreement with KDDI Corporation, reinforcing demand for its Aeris IoT Accelerator platform. KDDI has used the platform since 2017, when it was operated by Ericsson before being acquired by Aeris in 2023. The Aeris IoT Accelerator platform currently manages 104 million IoT devices and 42 million connected vehicles worldwide. Since the acquisition, Aeris has invested in performance improvements, cloudification, system modernization, and expanded partnerships with international connectivity providers. The platform enables enterprises to deploy connected solutions globally through single-SKU delivery and simplified billing. The agreement strengthens Aeris’ position in the growing IoT market while supporting large-scale, secure deployments for multinational enterprises and automotive manufacturers.
