AST SpaceMobile Secures $1.15 Billion to Accelerate Direct-to-Device Satellite Expansion

AST SpaceMobile has completed its private offering of $1.15 billion in 1.625 percent convertible senior notes due 2034 after the initial purchasers fully exercised their option to acquire an additional $150 million in notes. The financing strengthens the company’s balance sheet, increasing its pro forma cash, cash equivalents, and restricted cash to more than $3.8 billion as of June 30, 2026. AST SpaceMobile said the proceeds will support growth initiatives, expand access to launch capacity, and advance partnerships or acquisitions that strengthen its direct-to-device satellite broadband business. The company also completed capped call transactions designed to reduce shareholder dilution while maintaining an effective conversion price of $149.20 per share.

Accruent and PowerX Join Forces to Boost Telecom Energy Efficiency

Accruent has entered a strategic partnership with PowerX to help telecom operators improve energy management, infrastructure performance, and operational efficiency. The collaboration combines Accruent’s asset and maintenance management capabilities with PowerX’s intelligent energy optimization technology to provide real-time monitoring, predictive analytics, and automated energy control across telecom networks. The integrated solution is designed to reduce operating costs, improve equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support sustainability goals by optimizing energy consumption at network sites. As operators expand 5G infrastructure and edge deployments, the partnership aims to deliver greater visibility into energy usage while helping telecom companies build more resilient, efficient, and environmentally responsible network operations.

Adara and Aurora Launch Managed DAA-PON Platform for Multi-Gigabit Broadband

Adara Technologies and Aurora Networks have partnered to introduce a hosted, managed Distributed Access Architecture Passive Optical Network (DAA-PON) platform that enables broadband providers to deliver multi-gigabit internet services more efficiently. The cloud-managed platform integrates Aurora’s DAA-PON technology with Adara’s managed services, allowing operators to simplify network deployment, reduce infrastructure complexity, and lower operating expenses. The solution supports faster service activation, centralized management, and scalable fiber broadband expansion while improving network reliability and customer experience. By reducing the need for extensive on-site hardware and operational resources, the partnership helps service providers accelerate next-generation broadband rollouts and meet growing demand for high-speed connectivity.
