Vodafone My Delights on mydala mobile platform crosses 6 million visitors

Telecom Lead Asia: Vodafone has crossed six million unique visitors per month on its mobile platform My Delights.

The partnership with mydala, a mobile marketing platform, allows Vodafone users to shop on their mobile on a range of products and services such as restaurants, spas, fashion accessories, personal care products and a lot more.

They can now avail discounts upto 90 percent and free services in some cases and products they wish to choose from a menu of their favorite food joint to a Cineplex in their vicinity. Bringing internet value, discounts and offers to the mass market is the aim of the service and, so far, the response has been overwhelming.

Vivek Mathur, chief commercial officer, Vodafone, said: “Using USSD, our partnership with mydala enables us to provide our customers with exclusive deals and offers.”

With 147 million customers across the country, Vodafone is seeing a big uptake in the tier 2 and 3 cities and rural India.

Anisha Singh, founder and CEO, mydala, said: “Our platform allows real-time tapping of Vodafone users, which combined with intelligent data analytics is working towards executing on Vodafone’s vision of extending value and rewarding their loyal customers.”

mydala has also developed an user friendly analytic system which helps to provide consumers, exciting offers on F&B, entertainment, health & wellness etc at unbeatable prices based on location and buying their preferences via mobile.

The user can make payments directly from their mobile account which means they can find a great local offer, buy the discount then redeem it all within seconds. The platform can be used by both pre-paid and post-paid customers.
