Flytxt enters Afghanistan market, signs up Etisalat as first customer

Flytxt, the provider of Big Data Analytics powered customer experience and revenue management solutions for Communication Service Providers (CSPs), has signed up Etisalat, Afghanistan, to deploy its platform NEON to drive segmented marketing campaigns and deliver personalized offers to subscribers.

This agreement marks Flytxt’s entry into Afghanistan market.

Flytxt having consolidated their presence in South Asian and African markets is now focusing on establishing their presence in other fast growing mobile markets like South East Asian countries.

According to Vinod Vasudevan, CEO, Flytxt, the deal gives the company an opportunity to enter a telecom market with an amazing growth story having penetration now close to 80 percent as against few thousands of subscribers a decade back.

“Market growth brings many challenges and we are happy to partner with Etisalat in their marketing initiatives targeted at revenue growth and customer retention in this highly competitive market,” Vasudevan added.

“Since our entry we have brought in many first of its kind products and services to the people of Afghanistan,” said Yasser Aboul Amayem, Etisalat Afghanistan, chief commercial officer. “We hope to enhance customer experience further through contextual marketing leveraging Flytxt’s platform to deliver right offers to our customers at the right time too.”

NEON platform enables operators marketing teams to generate incremental revenue, reduce customer churn and enhance customer loyalty by executing micro-segmented campaigns. The platform is designed to help marketers automate and manage the end to end marketing workflow right from targeting, sending offers and fulfillment tracking to reporting from a single web interface.

Flytxt strategic path can be described to have taken shape in four phases where it made its transition from a technology product company to a turn-key Big Data Analytics powered solutions provider company, with the goal of generating economic value for CSPs by increasing revenue, reducing churn, increasing CSAT & generating new revenue streams through highly scalable and agile technology platform.
