By Telecom Lead Team: CommerceTel, a
provider of mobile marketing technologies and solutions, announced that a
multinational oil and gas corporation plans to roll out mobile marketing
services across 10,000 retail food and gas locations in the U.S.
Retail food and gas store locations will
use SMS and other forms of mobile communications to alert consumers about local
offers, promotions and other information.
The first deployment will begin in February
2012 with a distributor operating more than 700 locations.
CommerceTel’s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)
solution, compatible with all wireless carriers and mobile operating systems such
as Android, BlackBerry and iOS, allows the store operator to reach its
customers directly without the hassle of creating different specifications for
each carrier.
Managing mobile campaigns and consumer
mobile relationships is facilitated via an on-demand, Web-based solution that
enables local, regional, or national store operators with the ability to deploy
mobile marketing campaigns in minutes.
Retail food and gas stores have a great
opportunity to evolve their inbound foot traffic, or legacy marketing channels
such as print, to proactive outbound communications to the consumers’ mobile
phones.
“A unique and attractive advantage of
our technology is our ability to quickly deploy our solutions to the individual
locations, and provide customization capabilities to store owners,” said
Dennis Becker, CEO of CommerceTel.
