AIRTAG unveils mobile ordering solution for Fira de Barcelona

AIRTAG, a provider of mobile shopping solutions, has partnered with Fira de Barcelona to launch the first ever mobile ordering solution at Fira’s restaurants.

Mobile ordering at Fira’s restaurants has been integrated into the current app using AIRTAG’s AIRSHOP API solution, which are white label mobile libraries that connect with a retailer’s existing app and databases to simplify the addition of mobile commerce features.

The new functionalities enable Fira de Barcelona event goers, to advance order and pay for meals by mobile phone and check-in at a restaurant using NFC and QR code technology.

“At high volume events, where most people are eating out at the same time, mobile commerce can really make the process faster and more convenient for customers,” said Jérémie Leroyer CEO and co-founder of AIRTAG.

The solution demonstrates how cashless mobile shopping and innovative technologies can improve everyday customer journeys in a big way.

Fira de Barcelona will use AIRSHOP APIs to deliver hundreds of thousands of conference goers throughout the year, a more convenient ordering and payment experience.
