Wireless Matrix provides GPS services to university in the western United States

Telecom Lead America: Wireless Matrix Corporation, a
provider of GPS fleet tracking services, has been selected by a university in
the western United States to provide fleet tracking for up to 1,100 vehicles.

The university has inked a three-year agreement, under
which Matrix will provide the university with  FleetOutlook GPS
tracking solution for vehicle location and status reporting.

The solution will be deployed on a broad range of vehicle
types, including both Clean Natural Gas (CNG) and electric vehicles. Most of
the vehicles to be tracked are utilized on and around campus.

Maria Izurieta, acting CEO of Wireless Matrix, said that
the agreement is the result of a lengthy and highly detailed process that put
FleetOutlook toe-to-toe with solutions from some of the largest GPS tracking
companies in the industry.

The contract was given after a pilot process by the
university’s transportation department, which involved initial bids from
approximately 20 companies in the GPS fleet tracking industry.

Wireless Matrix was selected by the university following
a successful 60-day pilot of FleetOutlook on its vehicles earlier this year.

The contract marks Wireless Matrix’s entry into the
Education Transportation vertical.
