Subex unveils integrated bypass fraud solution to help telecom operators reduce fraud losses

Telecom Lead India: BSS provider Subex has launched its
integrated bypass fraud solution. The new solution enables telecom operators to
combat the growing threat of bypass fraud and reduce fraud losses.

The company claims that the Integrated Bypass Fraud solution
integrates the test call generator (TCG) approach with Subex’s ROC Fraud
Management solution combining the strengths and eliminating the weaknesses of
each individually.

We are pleased to be able to offer operators more
protection for their services. Our new integrated bypass fraud offering ensures
that operators are equipped with a single integrated platform capable of
efficient and accurate detection of bypass fraud,” said Vinod Kumar, group
president at Subex.

The new solution identifies the whole Bypass racket, which
is faster than traditional methods involving manual efforts. The Fraud
Management Solution provides feedback regarding new routes and traffic quantity
of existing routes to the TCG, ensuring complete coverage and elimination of
bypass fraud.

Subex said the Integrated Bypass Fraud solution features a
single platform for identification, management and reporting of the Bypass
Fraud cases along with accurate ROI identification and automatic provisioning
against confirmed fraud cases.

Subex offers part of its Managed Services portfolio around
this solution. This helps handle end to end investigation and management of
other business operations like reporting, trend analysis and feedback over the
suspicious cases identified by the integrated solution.

Idea Cellular selects Subex managed services to help reduce
their Opex

Recently, Subex has bagged a deal to offer ROC Fraud
Management solution through managed services for Idea Cellular for postpaid and
roaming. Recently, Idea selected Ericsson to manage their telecom network in
five circles in Indian telecom market. Subex will be running the operator’s
entire fraud management operations.

The company claims that Subex managed services offer
unmatched strategic and operational advantage to the service provider. With
significant financial savings, lowered operational risks and enhanced business
agility, service providers can focus their resources on the core
business-centric and customer-centric activities.
