Spireon and Sprint announce M2M deal

Spireon and American telecoms Sprint today announced its M2M deal.

As per the M2M association, Spireon’s FleetLocate mobile resource management (MRM) solutions will be provided to fleet operators utilizing the Sprint network.

FleetLocate solutions enable companies to maximize productivity, improve operational efficiencies and improve the bottom line through more effective management of assets, trailers and service fleets.

Spireon’s M2M platforms currently support more than 1.7 million subscribers.

Sprint business sales teams will offer Spireon’s FleetLocate solutions that enable fleet and logistics managers to remotely monitor vehicles, trailers and assets using Spireon’s GPS (Global Positioning System) tracking and telematics capabilities including GPS devices.

Spireon and Sprint offer industry expertise and support to help customers ensure they are up and running and gaining insights and intelligence to start saving. The arrangement also allows customers to include FleetLocate services on their Sprint bills, further simplifying the offering.

FleetLocate for Local Fleets offers managers of small and medium business service fleets the ability to monitor location and performance of vehicles and other assets remotely via computer, tablet or handset to help dispatch and deploy most effectively.
