Network Equipment offers services in support of enterprise deployments of Microsoft Lync

Network
Equipment Technologies, a provider of enterprise-class networking solutions
optimized for secure real-time communications in unified communications (UC),
SIP Trunking and enterprise mobility, announced a set of new global support
initiatives.

Under
the new NET Global Support offering, customers now have access to global
support services via a single contact point. The centralized global support hub
is available on request 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through a web-based
platform.

All
support enquiries will be logged centrally and processed by NET expert
consultants around the world. By utilizing a global support hub, NET provides
its consultants with a valuable overview of deployments across a number of
countries and provides its customers with more coordinated processing of
customer requests.

NET
also provides global Support Agreements and SLAs, streamlining, and further
standardizing the support process.

Meeting
and managing the complex requirements of system implementations across multiple
territories, the NET Global Deployment approach provides a set methodology for
the deployment of UX, VX and Tenors from pre-sales/pilots to customer
production, maximizing the success of an international project roll out with
minimum risk and disruption for customers.

This
global implementation methodology includes a central working group of global
and local NET experts, including project managers, system engineers and developers,
managing each project following a specific program of best practice design,
implementation and management steps. This ensures that customers benefit from
the valuable local knowledge of NET and business partners as well as the global
UC expertise of NET’s international team.

In
the coming quarter, NET
plans to roll out its global UC certification process for all consultants
involved in NET projects. The certification process will require consultants
within NET and its business partners to undergo fundamental and advanced
on-line training followed by a standard exam.

After
successful completion, consultants will be awarded NET (UC) Certified
Consultant Status. This expert level recognition provides customers with the
assurance of a common level of expertise from the pre-purchase and evaluation
stage to implementation and roll out of a UC network.

“We
believe that NET’s support model provides enterprises with unmatched
flexibility, performance and return on investment in supporting diverse
enterprise requirements, backed by our commitment to go the extra mile for
every customer,” said Thaison Chu, vice president of Global Service.

For
over two decades, NET has provided 24x7x365 service worldwide always available
to customers that rely on NET to protect their networks. Technologies evolve,
customers evolve, and networks evolve. One constant in this cycle has been
customer expectations that NET deliver support services that separate NET from
its competitors.
