MWC 2014: Lanka Bell deploys Elitecore LTE revenue and customer management platform

At MWC 2014 (Mobile World Congress), Barcelona, Elitecore Technologies today announced that  Lanka Bell has deployed its LTE Revenue and Customer Management platform to roll out prepaid-postpaid broadband, LTE + Wi-Fi, VoIP, Wi-Fi Hotspot, ILL, SIP & VPN.

The Sri Lankan telecom services provider has benefitted from the deployment of the Elitecore LTE platform that enables operators to offer Greenfield LTE services without disturbing the current plans while ensuring cost-effective optimization of their network.

Manjula Pathiranage, CTO of Lanka Bell, said: “The Elitecore platform has enabled us implement our LTE prepaid-post paid and Wi-Fi services at optimized cost, as per scheduled timelines and without causing a single service disruption.”

As part of the deal, Elitecore offered a Convergent Prepaid charging and PCRF solution to operator which enabled a complete new strategy to quickly launch and monetize their LTE and Wi-Fi services via various use cases such as multi-service plans, service/application differential charging, location and ToD based and bandwidth management QoS.
