LG-Ericsson unveils new wireless networking products

LG-Ericsson announced the introduction of a new family of
wireless networking products designed for the home/home office user.

Introduced expressly in response to requests from the
company’s channel partners for a product line that would satisfy demand for
quality LG-Ericsson USA home networking products, the first products in this
new line of 802.11n wireless home networking products the WBR-3020 Broadband
Router, the WBR-5050 Dual Band Broadband Router and the USB-1040 Dual Band USB
Adapter.

Bringing LG-Ericsson quality to truly easy, efficient and cost-effective connectivity, the new
WBR-3020 Broadband Router and WBR-5050 Dual Band Broadband Router provide
connectivity for PCs, smart phones, tablets, media hubs, wireless printers,
gaming consoles, and other Wi-Fi devices all at transfer speeds up to 300Mbps,
with MIMO (Multiple-In, Multiple-Out) antenna technology for optimal coverage.

The WBR-5050 adds four wired Gigabit ports and dual-band
capability for even greater assurance of speed and bandwidth availability. Both
routers have Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS), WPA/WPA2 encryption and SPI firewall
security to keep the network protected, and support for up to four SSIDs allow
separate access and security restrictions for home and guest users.

The standards-based USB-1040 Wireless 802.11n Dual Band
USB Adapter provides a quick and easy plug-in for a desktop or laptop PC to
access the high-speed N wireless connectivity.

Dual band capability means that it allows the PC or
laptop to bypass crowded 2.4GHz frequency bands to use the 5Ghz space, avoiding
interference and optimizing performance for bandwidth intensive applications.

And, the LG-Ericsson Installation Wizard makes set up
easy, with just a few simple, guided steps, while WPA/WPA2 encryption keeps the
connection secure.

These new home/home office networking products: the
WBR-3020 Broadband Router, the WBR-5050 Dual Band Broadband Router and the
USB-1040 Dual Band USB Adapter.
