KDDI America, has launched international GSM roaming. The company also
announced the release of Android smartphone Motorola XPRT, one of the best
business ready smartphones” from Motorola.
With the international GSM roaming facility, users can
have voice calls in more than 200 countries and areas. The company will start
GSM data roaming soon.
XPRT from Motorola is a dual mode phone with
support for CDMA and GSM technologies The XPRT comes with Motoblur, which syncs
and delivers your emails and messages right to your home screen.
The XPRT sports a 3.1 inch touch screen and a QWERTY
keyboard, making it easy to compose emails. Users can check and edit documents
anytime and anywhere using the installed Quickoffice application. Users’
accessibility to their office servers by using File Manager is one of the convenient
functions of XPRT.
The business smartphone offers highest level of security
compared to other Android smartphones. It can encrypt data not only in the
device, but also in the SD card. In the event of a lost or stolen phone, data
in the device and the SD card can be erased remotely by utilizing the function

KDDI selects Gemalto for first mobile NFC launch in Japan
Recently Gemalto announced it has been selected by KDDI
for Japan’s first commercial launch of mobile NFC services.
The launch is a part of the recently announced Japan
Mobile NFC Consortium that brings together the country’s three largest
operators to coordinate the adoption of multiple international standards for
NFC.
KDDI’s migration to Gemalto’s Upteq NFC high-end security
