Google VP Neal Mohan joins board of Mobile Marketing Association

Telecom Lead America: Mobile Marketing Association (MMA),
a trade association for the mobile industry, announced Neal Mohan, vice
president of display advertising for Google, has been named to the MMA Global
Board of Directors.


“The MMA Board of Directors plays a pivotal role in
setting the agenda for the mobile marketing industry, as well as helping shape
the future of the MMA. I am thrilled to welcome Neal, a key industry leader and
innovator, as the latest member of the Global Board,” said MMA CEO Greg
Stuart.


Mohan is responsible for Google’s display advertising
business, across desktop and mobile devices. This includes Google’s DoubleClick
and AdMob advertising solutions. Google has gone from new entrant to an
industry leader in display in recent years, offering a range of integrated
solutions for marketers, publishers and application developers. 


Known as the architect of Google’s display strategy, Neal
is a regular speaker at industry events and was listed as one of Ad Age’s 10
Most Influential Players in Marketing in 2011.


Prior to joining Google, Mohan was senior vice president
of strategy and product development at DoubleClick, building the company’s
strategic plan, leading the product management team in its execution, and
growing the business rapidly.


Neal held various leadership positions at DoubleClick and
NetGravity in technology development, business operations, and client services.
He played a key role in pioneering and growing the digital marketing industry.
He has also served in strategy and consulting roles at Microsoft and Accenture.
