Global consulting firm selects Glowpoint OpenVideo Cloud managed services


Glowpoint, a global provider of cloud managed video services, announced its engagement
with a leading management consulting services firm.



The management consulting services firm utilizes HD multi-purpose Polycom
videoconferencing systems among other technologies for its video meetings.



The company operates 70 offices around the world and has ranked in the top
of Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For over the past several years. The
name of the firm is not disclosed in this announcement due to confidentiality
requirements.



As per the initial agreement, Glowpoint will provide cloud managed video
services to 20 videoconferencing and telepresence rooms across 18 locations in North America, Europe, United Arab Emirates, and Asia
Pacific
.



The engagement with Glowpoint is likely to grow after the initial rollout
through new deployments and expansion into their existing base of existing
multi-purpose videoconferencing rooms.



“Our OpenVideo suite of cloud services for this particular client is
delivered through a white label offering by one of Glowpoint’s key strategic
partners, further validating our global channel partner strategy,” said Joe Laezza, Glowpoint’s chief executive officer.
