Fujitsu India and Siemens Enterprise announce new alliance

Fujitsu India and Siemens Enterprise Communications India
are partnering to provide Indian customers with Unified IT AND Communications
solution.

As a result of the new alliance, the two companies intend
to jointly offer IT AND Communications solutions leveraging Fujitsu’s IT
competence and Siemens Enterprise Communications’ Unified Communication
expertise.

In India, there is a growing market demand for Unified
communications – and companies are finding it increasingly important to be able
to rely on open, standards-based architectures to support collaboration between
partner organizations, and between customers and suppliers.

The two companies predict that software-based unified
communication and collaboration solutions that simplify integration into
business processes will be in great demand and will add value through
intelligent and flexible deployment approaches such as cloud-based and managed
services.

Fujitsu and Siemens Enterprise Communications are forming a
partnership to address this growing convergence between Communications and the
IT world, providing customers with a one-stop shop for all their IT and
communications needs.

This marks the evolution of the relationship between the
two companies to a new level and the growth of reach and coverage for both
partners. In today’s world of Unified Communication, communications and IT
cannot afford to remain as standalone entities. With increased dependence on
each other, it is worthwhile to join hands and provide the customer with an
end-to-end solution from one source.

In recognition of the increasing convergence between
telecommunications and IT, Fujitsu India is partnering with Siemens Enterprise
Communications to ensure that our Indian customers can benefit from the best of
German-Japanese IT platforms and communication capabilities,” said Mark Wilson,
senior vice president, Fujitsu Technology Solutions.

Together, we expect to redefine innovations and raise
the bar in terms of customer offerings. We are certain that this relationship
will broaden our scope, increase market coverage and build our agility and
speed of responsiveness to the needs of our customers,”  Wilson added.

This leading partnership with Fujitsu India will help broaden
the scope of our solution portfolio, increase our reach and offer best-of-breed
IT infrastructure and services along with the proven communications solutions
offered by Siemens Enterprise Communications,” said Anil Jain, managing
director, Siemens Enterprise Communications India & sales head, SEN, Asia
Pacific.

This partnership will provide customers with a one – stop
shop for their IT and communication needs with products including world-leading
servers, storage and workplace solution as well as a wide range of Unified
Communication solutions backed up with professional and lifecycle services.
