Virtual-Q announced that Rick Braddy has been appointed chief
technology officer. Braddy brings more than 31 years of unparalleled technology
and business experience to his new responsibilities for advancing Virtual-Q’s
cutting-edge technology.
Braddy is a former chief technology officer of CITRIX
Systems, a provider of application and desktop virtualization solutions.
As CTO, Braddy was responsible for the virtualization
group’s business and technology strategy, as well as the architecture and
intellectual property of the company’s flagship products, XenApp and
XenDesktop.
Prior to serving as CITRIX’s CTO, Braddy served as Vice
President of Product Management and Architecture, with responsibility for the
company’s CITRIX Presentation Server product line.
During Braddy’s six-year tenure with CITRIX, the company
grew from a $450 million, single product company to a diversified, “Top
10” software company, with annual revenues in excess of $1.2 billion.
