Deutsche Telekom signs billing solutions deal with NetCracker Technology

Telecom Lead Europe: Deutsche Telekom has signed a billing solutions contract with NetCracker Technology.

The deal is for the ongoing support and maintenance of the billing solution for its fixed network in Germany.

In addition, Deutsche Telekom is using NetCracker’s Telecom Operations and Management Solutions (TOMS) suite to provide Order Management and OSS.

Leveraging NetCracker solutions and services enables Deutsche Telekom to support new business models and reduce costs.

NetCracker’s professional services will optimize the performance of its billing solution.

“Deutsche Telekom is deliberate in our selection of software providers that are able to help us further our vision of product and service personalization, convergence, and flexible automation,” said Torsten Minkwitz, senior executive vice president for Architecture and Transformation, Deutsche Telekom IT.

Meanwhile, Deutsche Telekom group recently said it would invest around EUR 30 billion as Capex in 2013-2015.
