Our existing IT
infrastructure is a multi-vendor environment with various isolated systems
creating many issues like clinician non-productivity, administration workload
and operation interruption. When we planned for the IT infrastructure in our
new facility, we wanted to provide international standard services, so we
thought of having the finest single-network platform available in the market,”
said
Viroje Chongkolwatana, deputy dean of IT, Siriraj Piyamaharajkarun
Hospital.

Cisco provided us with an
integrated end-to-end solution, not just modular products. Being the leader in
networking technologies, we have no doubt that Cisco would deliver a highly
secure, stable and robust borderless network platform that can facilitates our
international standard care services that we will offer next year,”
Chongkolwatana added.

The most important thing
for them as healthcare providers is to be able to access information anytime,
anywhere and on any device so they can treat their patients. We are excited to
work with SiPH’s strategic vision for a Hospital of the Future as we, together,
develop the healthcare industry in Thailand to meet international standards,”
