Balaji Prakash to head Tata Docomo Consumer Business in Kerala, K’taka

Tata Teleservices Limited (TTL) announced the appointment of Balaji Prakash as Tata Docomo  Consumer Business Unit (CBU) Head – Karnataka and Kerala Circle.

As the CBU Head, Balaji would be responsible for overseeing company’s operations and business in the growing 3G telecom markets of Karnataka and Kerala.

Prior to taking up the new role, Balaji was the CBU Head for Tamil Nadu, at Tata Teleservices.

 

TTL offers integrated telecom solutions to its customers under the unified brand name Tata Docomo and operates its wireless networks on GSM, CDMA and 3G technology platforms.  The company also has non-voice offerings such as e-Governance, Machine to Machine (M2M) and m-Remittance (m-Rupee).

TTL offers integrated Voice, Data and Managed solutions to large and small medium. TTL claims to possess optic fiber network running across 1,00,000 km and with a 25,000 km access network covering key cities.

On his new role, Balaji Prakash said, “Karnataka and Kerala are two Tata Docomo’s priority circles and we are working towards strengthening our existing products and services. We are constantly innovating to present great new value propositions to our customers.”

Prakash added, “Backed by a high-performing and passionate team, we are confident of achieving the next phase of growth and expanding Tata Docomo’s footprint here.”
