AT&T inks deal with Nutreco to develop a global network

Telecom Lead America: Telecom major AT&T has entered
into a three year agreement to develop a global wide area network for Nutreco.

With this centralized, global IP-based virtual private
network, Nutreco will be able to improve efficiencies and productivity across
its worldwide locations spanning 30 countries.

“It is the crucial global reach and scale of the
AT&T network and services that is enabling us to focus on our mission of
providing innovative and sustainable animal nutrition to the worldwide
agriculture and aquaculture markets,” said Henry van de Ven, chief
information officer, Nutreco.

Headquartered in the Netherlands, Nutreco provides animal
nutrition and fish feed. The network will connect Nutreco’s employees around
the world and enable them to streamline crucial business services, allowing
them to focus on their core business.

Nutreco said that it aims to contribute to meeting the
rising food needs of a growing world population in a sustainable manner by
applying its knowledge of feed ingredients and the nutrition of animals and
fish to gain optimum value from limited natural resources.

AT&T to manage the connection of more than 3500 LVMH sites in more than 100
countries across six continents.
