Telecom Lead America: Anite, a provider of mobile device
and network testing technology, announced that its test solutions are being
used to assess the US LTE public safety network and associated devices.
The solutions are being used by the National Institute of
Standards and Technology, which is working with government agencies and device
manufacturers to ensure that any LTE enabled public safety device operates
effectively on the soon to be deployed US public safety LTE Network.
The network is delivering services to approximately
60,000 federal, state and local agencies.
The network will be operated by the First Responder
Network Authority (FirstNet) and will replace a patchwork of different systems
in use.
Kevin Winters, VP of US Wireless Sales at Anite said the
company has a strong presence in the US, working closely with the major US
carriers.
Anite claims that till date it is responsible for more
than 80 percent of all LTE test case verification submissions to 3GPP RAN5 for
the PTCRB certification requirements.
Anite also provides one of the strongest and most
versatile ranges of LTE network testing products – under the Nemo brand.
The company said that its Nemo brand ensures high quality
of service for mobile device users.
Telecom testing company Anite expands Indian operations
A few months back, Anite expanded its presence in Indian telecom
market. The company is considering India as one of the fastest growing mobile
markets in the world. India has become an important market for Anite.
