Anite brings new versions of Nemo Handy-A and Nemo Walker Air

Test and measurement vendor Anite today announced new releases of Nemo Handy-A, a solution for handheld network measurements and troubleshooting as well as Nemo Walker Air, a tool for indoor benchmarking.

Anite claims that it is first in the market to release a complete set of locking and forcing features with Samsung Galaxy Core LTE based on the Broadcom M320 chipset.

Nemo Handy-A and Nemo Walker Air can be utilized when specific cells in mobile networks need to be tested without the test systems automatically switching to neighboring base stations.

Jussi Lemilainen, VP, Product Management and Business Development of Anite’s Network Testing business, said: “Nemo Handy-A and Walker Air together with the Samsung Galaxy Core LTE make locking into a specific cell quick and easy. This enables accurate testing, troubleshooting and optimization of mobile networks, improving the network’s quality as well as the usability of mobile services.”

Anite said the latest versions bring support for the portable, battery operated DRT 4311B scanner. The new versions also increase the efficiency of indoor measurements and walk testing, enabling users to carry out multi frequency scans on all technologies and bands.
